Q1: How do I lock and unlock my School Tuck Box?

A1: The lock, The lock, when pushed shut will stay closed without the use of the key. The tuck box should arrive like this with your keys stored inside*.
The round release lock button slides horizontally by 1/4" to open the lock.
The release button can be rotated 90 degrees (the lugs on the round release lock button twisting from vertical to horizontal alignment) this holds the box locked without the use of the key.
There are brass hasps on either side of the round release lock button which also need to be released to open the box.
*Please note: Occasionally a tuck box will arrive with the round release lock button in the locked position (lugs in the horizontal position) - rotate it to the vertical position and slide to the side to release.
**To close your Tuck Box shut the lock first then close the hasps on either side.

Q2: Are the colours exactly the same as the colours I see on my computer screen?

A2: Looking at images on a computer screen does mean the colour can be a bit different - please be aware of this when ordering!

Q3: I need a Tuck Box for September, when should I order it?

A3: We have ample stock to ensure you get the tuck box you want for starting your new school. Orders recieved before noon are dispatched on the same day and orders made after noon are sent the following day. Our shipping is a 24 hours service but we recommend you allow 2 working days to be on the safe side.
If you require a Saturday or timed delivery please select from our shipping options.
NB Orders which have factory fitted wheels or extra handles may take 1 day longer.

Q4: What is Tuck?

A4: Food (mainly sweets, treats and snacks) brought or sent from home to a student, usually at Boarding School.

Q5: How do I know my teenager will like the Tuck?

A5: We have to be sure that teenagers love our Tuck so that you can be confident in our choices.
To begin we took ourselves and our Tuck Hampers into some well known boarding schools and invited a mix of teenage boys and girls (some staff and parents too) from the UK and Overseas to tell us what they did and didn’t like and to select the very best from ranges of similar goodies.
All of the tested Tuck was awarded A or A* ratings (just like school exams). Look around the site for comments from our taste test panels.
Feedback tells us that when a teenager gets something they are not keen on, they pass it on to a friend, so none of the Tuck you send is wasted.

Q6: What if you don't have the Tuck I want to order?

A6: If you would like Tuck we don't currently offer please contact us, we review the tuck based on customer feedback - so tell us what you really want!

A8: Most of the Tuck comes from quality UK producers but certain special items are only made overseas. We look everywhere to find the best of Tuck for teenagers.
